Introduction
A tool to understand and transform entrepreneurship ecosystems from a systemic perspective.
The Impact Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Index allows for the analysis and comparison of the state of ecosystems in Spain's 50 provinces, incorporating not only the economic dimension but also the social and ecological factors that shape the territory.
Beyond measurement, it offers a clear reading of strengths and opportunities, becoming a foundation for driving transformation processes adapted to current challenges, from a systemic regeneration perspective.

Methodology
A systemic view to understand how territories really work.
The index analyses entrepreneurial ecosystems through the interdependence between three key dimensions: ecological, social, and economic. Together, these dimensions allow us to understand the overall health of a territory and its capacity to sustain itself and evolve.
3 dimensions of territory
- Ecological health It constitutes the outer layer that envelops the system, reflecting the natural basis that sustains all activities.
- Social health it occupies an intermediate position, linked to well-being, cohesion, culture, and relationships.
- Economic health it is situated at the core, as an expression of entrepreneurial and productive activity, dependent on the previous ones.
This living system does not operate independently, but interrelates, evidencing how entrepreneurial performance is conditioned by its ecological and social context.
3 KEY CAPABILITIES
- Vitality the ability to generate and sustain its own energy, act with autonomy and respond to the challenges of preserving life (water, soil, biodiversity, well-being).
- Feasibility the ability to stay alive over time, interacting with larger systems from its calling and intelligent specialisation.
- Evolution potential to advance towards higher orders of expression, integrating greater complexity, cohesion, and collective learning.
8 KEY WORKFLOWS
- Nourishing life care of natural resources and essential cycles.
- Diverse and resilient habitats Environments that favour biodiversity and quality of life.
- Energy and circularity Efficient use of resources and sustainable models.
- Wellbeing and care health and quality of life of people.
- Infrastructure and connectivity Networks, services, and access to opportunities
- Culture Values, identity and forms of relating to the territory.
- Knowledge and transfer learning, innovation and knowledge generation.
- Governance and funding: Decision-making and access to economic resources.
This is how we understand the ecosystem works by identifying relationships, imbalances, and levers for transformation.
